Coconut Fig Energy Bites
Looking for a healthy snack to devour after your yoga session? Try these chewy coconut fig energy bites! Vegan, healthy, and packed full of protein, they are an ideal post-workout treat. Enjoy a little taste of the tropics with the blended flavors of chocolate and coconut. These energy bites are so easy to make, just follow the easy recipe below. Try them after your next yoga workout!
Ingredients
1 cup dried figs
1/4 cup natural almond butter
3/4 cup oats, either old fashioned or quick cooking (gluten free if necessary)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup raw almond
1/4 cup ground flax seeds
1/8 tsp fine sea salt
1/2 cup dairy free-mini chocolate chips
Raw coconut flakes to garnish
Simply combine all of the ingredients into the food processor. Roll into 1 inch balls. Coat them in the coconut flakes and pop them into the fridge for about an hour to chill. And voila! Enjoy, yogis :)
