If you’re looking for a little pick me up right after your next yoga session, or run- then we highly recommend this delicious green super smoothie recipe we came across! It’s light, refreshing, and will help your body recover from your workout. The main ingredient in this nutrient packed smoothie is spinach. Why do we love spinach so much? Because this super food is loaded with vitamins and minerals, is a great source of Omega 3s, is anti-inflammatory, helps to produce natural energy and Alkalizes the body. Try this simple recipe after your next trip to the gym or yoga studio. Make sure you use only fresh, organic ingredients and wash the spinach before adding it into the blender.

i n g r e d i e n t s 

2 cups baby spinach
1 banana: Chalked full of potassium and fiber, it’s also a great source of complex carbs.
1 1/2 cups pineapple chunks:This fruit contains an enzyme that helps heal the body of inflammation caused by injuries and it is loaded with antioxidants. 
1/2 cup 2% Greek yogurt-Full of protein your body is craving after a workout.
Ginger: Alleviates muscle soreness.
Chia seeds: Packed full of protein and antioxidants and Omega 3s. 
1-1 1/2 cup coconut water- This tropical treat is full of electrolytes and antioxidants (Make sure it’s pure coconut water!)

Blend all of the ingredients together in your blender, serve in a mason jar and sprinkle with Chia seeds.

    Hydrate! Drink plenty of water before class

    Wear cool, comfortable clothing such as biking or running shorts and fitted tank tops or sports bras.

    Don't take class on a full stomach. Eat a light snack, if needed, before class, but nothing too heavy.

    Come at least 20 minutes early before your first class for registration.

    Don't be nervous. Most new students feel a little intimidated, but after only a few classes you'll feel right at home.
