1. It’s a great workout anytime…especially for those cooler months. 

Most of us adore Summer because we can workout outside, go for runs, and stay in great shape…. but what happens when the weather starts to cool off?  It can become easy to use the brisk weather as an excuse to start skipping workouts. (We are all guilty of this!) So what are we to do? Well, yoga is a wonderful way to stay in shape during the colder months. A huge benefit of Bikram is that it’s practiced indoors, providing us with a great way to keep your body strong and flexible even when the weather turns!
 2. You’ll be encouraged to form better habits.
When we start working out and taking care of our bodies physically, we start to become more aware of the rest of our habits. Once we get into a healthy routine of yoga and exercise, we naturally want to improve other areas of our life, such as diet and mental health. Practicing yoga encourages not only a healthy physic, but a well rounded lifestyle.

3. Enjoy your Fall treats, guilt free.
Though we strive to be healthy and take care of our bodies, it’s totally ok to treat ourselves ever now and then with a pumpkin spiced latte, or vegan cupcake! Seriously, it is. Because when we’re working out on a regular basis and burning large amounts of calories in the yoga studio, it’s completely acceptable to enjoy a guilty pleasure from time to time. We encourage moderation and balance in all aspects of our lives. 

4. It will help to develop your mental strength.
Yoga not only improves our physical strength, it also helps our mental strength. The more we practice, the more focused, balanced and level we become. These are all things we could use when tackling the up-coming school year, or the next season of work!

5. You’ll be less-stressed.
Numerous studies have proven that yoga may help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also enhance our mood and overall sense of well-being. Yoga will help us to find peace and serenity in our lives. And when we’re de-stressed and balanced….well, everything else just isn’t really that bad.

  • Helpful Tips

    Hydrate! Drink plenty of water before class

    Wear cool, comfortable clothing such as biking or running shorts and fitted tank tops or sports bras.

    Don't take class on a full stomach. Eat a light snack, if needed, before class, but nothing too heavy.

    Come at least 20 minutes early before your first class for registration.

    Don't be nervous. Most new students feel a little intimidated, but after only a few classes you'll feel right at home.
